Co-Location Investments and Consulting

To ensure optimum ongoing knowledge in the area of Co-Location products and facilities, Mactel has partnered with Rick Bissell, a Regulatory SME who is not only familiar with the provisions contained in the Stentor Co-Location Tariff; the Central Office License Agreement (COLA); CRTC Telecom Decisions, and All-Party Agreements reached at CRTC Steering Committee meetings, but was also personally responsible for creating most of the Stentor and Bell Sygma Co-Location Forms, Practices, Processes and Guidelines for Co-Locating in Incumbent Central Offices across Canada.

Mactel and Rick Bissell Consulting have also developed the infrastructure investments required to construct Co-Location cost models for Bell Nexxia in Canada; MCI WorldCom and AT&T in the USA.

Furthermore, Rick Bissell and members of his team appeared before state regulatory bodies in New York, Massachusetts, Alabama, Maryland, Tennessee, Florida and South Carolina on behalf of MCI WorldCom and AT&T to discuss co-location processes, investments and implementation strategies.

Mactel and Rick Bissell Consulting can provide support to businesses’ in the telecommunications industry; whether the requirement is process development, implementation forms, and/or investment research to be used in cost studies associated with Co-Location facilities and power for Carrier Hotel pricing.
